Design, build, automate and operate secure, scalable, highly available OCI platform services and workloadsManage OCI networking, compute, storage, identity, DNS, load balancing, object storage, monitoring and loggingDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with Git-based CI/CDImplement cloud security controls, IAM roles and policies, network segmentation, secrets management, vulnerability remediation and audit requirementsEstablish platform monitoring, alerting, logging, capacity management, backup, disaster recovery and incident-response proceduresManage patching, upgrades, lifecycle management and service reliability for cloud workloadsSupport application, research and AI teams with reusable cloud patterns, self-service capabilities and technical guidanceOptimise OCI consumption, performance and cost with stakeholders on forecasting and governanceMaintain architecture documentation, standards, runbooks and operational proceduresWork closely with Infrastructure, Cyber, desirableRight to work permanently in the UKWillingness to travel as necessaryLive in or within easy commuting distance of Oxford, or be willing to relocateWillingness to work longer hours during peak periods and across multiple time zones when requiredCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in designing and managing secure, scalable Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD practices.
