Position : Senior Backend Engineer Location: Spain (Remote).Duration: Permanent Si desea conocer los requisitos para este puesto, siga leyendo para obtener toda la información relevante.Language Requirements English proficiency: B2 level or higher Spanish proficiency : B2 level or higher Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and evolve backend services and cloud-based platforms.The role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions while contributing to product evolution through strong software engineering practices.You will work in a modern technology environment built around containerized applications, distributed architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and CI/CD processes .The position also involves driving engineering excellence through automation, quality assurance, modern development tools, and AI-assisted development solutions.Required Qualifications: Technical Skills At least 2 years of development experience in Go , OR Strong Java development experience combined with React experience.Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .Experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs .Experience working in CI/CD environments , preferably using GitHub Actions .Preferred Qualifications Proven experience designing and implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end).Strong understanding of software quality practices, testing methodologies, and test automation.Experience with continuous integration, deployment, and delivery processes.Experience managing and consuming artifacts with tools such as Artifactory .Experience using feature flags or progressive rollout mechanisms.Experience with AWS and cloud-native services.Experience with React .Experience with Java .Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architectures .Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases .Knowledge and application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.Experience with testing frameworks/tools such as: Playwright Cypress Selenium JUnit Testify Similar technologies Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Experience with event-driven architectures .xiphteb Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms.Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as: GitHub Copilot Cursor Similar solutions
