Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll design, develop and deploy high-quality software solutions supporting critical identity and commerce platforms. You’ll work across backend services, APIs and event-driven systems, contributing to scalable applications used across global streaming products.

Working within an Agile engineering environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across London, Lisbon and Prague to deliver reliable, secure and high-performing digital experiences.

You’ll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through to automated testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring
• Proven experience designing, developing and deploying web applications and backend services
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and/or event-driven systems
• Experience working with asynchronous messaging technologies, particularly Kafka
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Kibana
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and non-functional testing considerations
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments
