Software Engineer

My client is a well established company in the Renewable Energy Sector.Envíe su CV y cualquier información adicional requerida después de haber leído esta descripción, haciendo clic en el botón de solicitud.We are looking for a Software Engineer to be based remotely in Europe, will be required to travel to site occasionally so must be a resident of country living in or an EU citizen so free to travel inside EU.This a 6 month extendable contract to start asap with possibility to go permanent at a later date.Project Engineer - Junior/Mid Level Software EngineerIntroduction and implementation of new projects from initial assignment through to handover to the production process, in accordance with the supervisor’s instructionsApplication of computer science and mathematical knowledge in software design, development, and testingSoftware development according to client requirementsSoftware testing and troubleshooting/debugging of identified issuesProvision of technical support to clientsPreparation of project and technical documentation for new projects according to the supervisor’s instructionsMonitoring project progress and schedules, including supervision of work quality during project ramp-upClose cooperation with project stakeholders and customersTechnical preparation of production, including processing, communication, implementation, and execution of production and quality procedures and related documentation within assigned manufacturing projectsManagement and resolution of non-conforming materials and customer complaints caused by production activities, including planning and implementation of preventive measures to avoid non-conformities and customer complaintsManagement, communication, and implementation of production, engineering, and quality records within assigned manufacturing projectsManagement and updating of technical and technological data in the employer’s database system in accordance with company procedures and requirementsParticipation in project department meetings and other relevant meetings in accordance with company proceduresCoordination of production and engineering activities during the launch of new projects with other departments, suppliers, and customersSupport of internal and external partners within the supplier-customer chain, within the assigned production and engineering responsibilities, to achieve agreed delivery performance and quality targetsCooperation in xqysrnh the development of products within assigned projects and implementation of engineering change results related to customer requirements, technical production preparation, objectives, procedures, standards, and production capacityExperience with software testing (manual QA)Ability to read and analyse logsExperience with bus communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, Serial Bus, MQTT, etc.)Ability to read and interpret technical standards and apply their requirements in practiceKnowledge of the OCPP communication protocol is an advantageStrong technical and analytical thinking, with a focus on identifying root causes rather than merely addressing symptoms
