Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead a newly formed IT Automation Engineering team, aligning software and automation efforts across IT operations.You will define architectures for internal software, automations, and integrations while guiding internal tool development and engineering standards.You’ll work cross-functionally with security, business, and engineering to deliver scalable automation and DevOps-enabled environments.The position blends hands-on engineering with people leadership in a collaborative culture that values growth and excellence.Your impact spans from tooling to enterprise-grade automation at scale.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of automation and software engineers * Foster an agile, best-practices oriented software development culture * Architect, develop, and maintain automations, internal business apps, and IT integrations * Bridge engineering rigor with decentralized development and low-code/no-code platforms * Apply DevOps/SRE practices to build automated environments for internal apps and business platforms * Contribute hands-on design, coding, and reviews to unblock the team * Ensure clear priorities, predictable delivery, and measurable outcomes * Collaborate with business, security, and engineering to align on requirements and standards Responsabilidades * 7+ years of engineering experience * 2+ years of leadership/mentorship experience * Hands-on capability up to 50% of time * Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (Node.js) for automation * Strong understanding of SDLC, API architecture, Git, and CI/CD * DevOps/SRE principles for software deployments, cloud integrations, and low-code infra * Foundational knowledge of IAM (RBAC, Least Privilege) and standards (SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OIDC) * Experience with workflow engines (Zapier, Make, N8N) * General knowledge of modern IT infra and tools (Slack, Google Workspace, M365, MDM like Jamf/Intune, modern IAM like Okta/Entra ID) * Exposure to AI toolsets, LLM APIs, and vibe-coding environments Requisitos principales * remote work * flexible working hours * private health insurance * 2 extra paid days off for wellbeing * 1 extra paid day off for personal celebration * learning opportunities
