Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our Engineering Platform Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in empowering our developers with the tools and processes necessary to maximize productivity and deliver exceptional business value. You will champion DevOps practices, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous improvement, and co-designing platform solutions with product teams to enhance developer productivity and drive business value., * 5+ years of experience as a systems, infrastructure, or platform engineer, or in a similar role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) in a production environment.
• Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
• Comfortable with GitOps workflows, especially using tools like Argo CD.
• Solid Linux systems knowledge.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• A mindset for automating everything.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog) or secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).
• Ability to lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident review processes.
