IT Automation Support - Warehouse Automation

As an IT Automation Support Engineer, you’ll support the software behind automated warehouse systems, including AutoStore and Kardex WCS, working alongside WMS platforms such as Manhattan and Blue Yonder.

The successful candidate will provide application support for warehouse automation platforms across multiple sites and work closely with internal IT teams, warehouse operations and external technology partners

The role of IT Automation Support

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for warehouse automation software
• Troubleshoot system, integration and communication issues
• Analyse logs and data to identify root causes
• Support AutoStore and Kardex WCS
• Work with WMS and IT teams to resolve issues
• Liaise directly with automation suppliers and manage technical tickets
• Support software updates, testing and system changes
• Monitor systems and identify potential issues before they impact operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement and documentation

• Experience in IT/application support or a technical support environment
• Ideally experience within logistics, warehousing or industrial automation
• Experience with WMS, warehouse systems or logistics technology
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• An understanding of software, integrations and system communications
• Warehouse experience is highly desirable; 3PL experience is not essential
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and operational teams
• Fluent English; Dutch is advantageous
• A driving licence and willingness to travel between the three Dutch sites

• Holiday allowance: 0.96 month’s salary per year
• Annual leave: 22-24 days
• Travel: Travel expenses reimbursed per kilometre
