Job description

  • Scale and evolve backend infrastructure
  • Design and build performant APIs and services
  • Develop infrastructure to support advanced technologies (including AI/ML)
  • Optimise database performance and queries
  • Improve system reliability through monitoring and alerting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing product development

Requirements

  • Experience working in product-focused engineering environments
  • Strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code (e.g. AWS, Terraform)
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with serverless architectures (e.g. AWS Lambda)
  • Understanding of security best practices and performance optimisation, * You enjoy building and solving complex problems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Interested in startup or high-growth environments
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and motivated
  • Interest in AI/ML infrastructure is a bonus
