Senior Network Engineer with Poly

• Monitor & Optimize Networks:Oversee the customer’s Risk Management Framework and related networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Support System Upgrades:Patch, upgrade, and migrate Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls to maintain network integrity and performance.
• Contribute to Agile Development:Participate in agile activities, including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
• Collaborate with Developers:Work closely with developers throughout the application development lifecycle to build features that deliver value to our customers.

• Experience:Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years).
• Clearance:TS/SCI with Poly (required).
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Advanced expertise in Linux and Windows environments, with extensive system administration skills to manage complex network infrastructures.
• Certifications:
• CCNA or CCNP certification (required).
• Security+ certification (required).

What we’d like you to have

• Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Salt scripts.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and virtual machines (VMs).
