Smt Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician, where you’ll engage in the intricate assembly of medical devices, contributing to the innovation of wearable biosensors. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with research and development engineers, performing both standard and non-standard builds.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks and gradually build units independently.
• Meet daily production goals through repetitive yet easy-to-learn processes.
• Conduct wire soldering and small assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Utilize microscopes for assembly and carry out visual inspections.
• Collaborate with engineers on non-standard builds and product development.
• Review documents, update computer records, and manage raw material logs.
• Run batch processes and manage multiple sensor setups, ensuring timely completion.
• Create enzyme solutions for sensor calibration and manage batch processes., Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, for all positions located in the city and county of San Francisco, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Flexibility is key as shifts may start at 6am, 6:30am, or 8am, with potential overtime and occasional Saturday work. Operate in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, adhering to strict policies regarding attire and personal grooming. Be prepared to wear gowns, masks, gloves, and other protective gear. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits
