Job description

Develop, maintain and execute automated test suites.
Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
Deliver functional, regression and integration testing.
Perform API and service-level testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, investigate and document defects.
Work closely with developers, testers and wider delivery teams.
Support continuous improvement of testing practices and automation coverage.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience as an Automation Tester, Test Automation Engineer, SDET or similar.
Hands-on experience with automation tooling such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Cucumber.
Programming/scripting experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar.
Experience of API testing and automated regression testing.
Understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
Previous experience within government, defence or other secure environments would be advantageous.

Candidates must be able to complete BPSS checks before starting and be eligible to undergo Home Office SC clearance once onboarded.
