Infrastructure Engineer

We’re recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team within a global organisation that is investing heavily in its infrastructure, cloud and security capabilities.

Working across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments, you’ll help ensure systems remain secure, resilient and fit for the future.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across IT to improve service reliability, enhance security, implement new technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This role offers a strong mix of operational responsibility and project work, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact rather than simply keeping the lights on., * Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues.

• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Manage EntraID, Intune and hybrid identity environments.
• Support Windows Server and VMware platforms.
• Monitor infrastructure and security tools, investigating and responding to alerts.
• Drive automation, standardisation and service improvement initiatives.
• Support infrastructure, security and digital transformation projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and configuration records.
• Mentor and support Service Desk and technical support teams.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or 3rd Line Support role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Entra ID and Intune.
• VMware administration experience.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VPNs and modern network technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
