Would you be interested in continuing your career as a Back-end Developer specialized in Artificial Intelligence within a leading technology company in the aviation sector , working in an international, highly innovative, and sustainability-driven environment , where you will contribute to the development of solutions that help reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in aviation operations ?From Oxigent Technologies, we are looking for a SENIOR AI ENGINEER (PYTHON EXPERT) to join this multinational company, taking part in projects focused on the development of AI-based solutions for the optimization of aviation operations , based in Barcelona (Poblenou).Your mission will be to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI systems , taking part in the full lifecycle of machine learning models and contributing to products that directly impact the operational efficiency of the aviation sector.What will your main responsibilities be?Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and machine learning solutions for production environments.Lead the technical architecture and implementation of new features, AI models, or pipelines.Work closely with the Flight Operations Expert for AI Products to ensure that the products are optimized for aerial operations and meet necessary safety and operational requirements.Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models , including data processing, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through best practices in testing, documentation, and continuous integration.Manage and mentor the Junior AI Engineers in the development of new products and the maintenance of existing ones.Occasionally contribute your expertise to the development of other products.What do you need for this role?At least 4-5 years of experience developing AI solutions with Python.Strong experience in machine learning, data-driven systems, and data modeling.Experience building production-grade software systems.Very high level of English ( international environment, daily communication in English ).Strong technical leadership, autonomy, and architectural thinking.Experience working in international teams and complex projects.What do we offer?Permanent contract.Salary aligned with experience ( approximately €52,000 - €58,000 gross per year ).Hybrid model (3 days in the office / 2 remote ) in Barcelona (Poblenou).Innovative project in the aviation sector focused on AI applied to sustainability and energy efficiency.Long-term stable project with strong international visibility.Training budget to develop your professional skills in areas of interest.Private health insurance.Flexible compensation plan (health insurance, restaurant vouchers, transport, childcare, training, etc.).Access to a discounted gym and sports activities platform.And many other benefits!Join Oxigent!A company committed to sustainability and equal opportunities, where talent and technology know no gender boundaries.
