Job description

  • Developing and enhancing existing web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development
  • Building features using React and related frameworks
  • Supporting backend development within a Node.js environment
  • Working closely with Product, UX/UI and QA teams to take user stories through development, testing and release
  • Writing and improving unit and integration tests
  • Working within an environment where quality, testing and reliability are prioritised over simply shipping quickly
  • Contributing to applications hosted within Microsoft Azure

Requirements

This is a full-stack position with a strong front-end lean, primarily working across existing products, delivering enhancements and BAU development while the wider team focuses on a major new digital platform., * Around 3+ years’ commercial software engineering experience

  • Strong experience with React (any framework)
  • Full-stack development experience with Node.js
  • Good understanding of software testing and engineering quality (TDD-style)
  • Experience with unit and/or integration testing
