Platform Engineer

An exciting opportunity to join a global engineering company working on a unique technology platform supporting applications and infrastructure across vessels worldwide.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll help build and automate a new on-premise Kubernetes platform from the ground up, with a strong focus on reliability, automation and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain on-premise Kubernetes environments
• Work with Linux, virtual machines and infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring and deployment workflows
• Work closely with software and IT teams to deliver practical solutions
• Help shape the future of the internal platform

• Strong experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps
• Solid Linux, Kubernetes and virtualisation experience
• Hands-on on-premise infrastructure experience
• Strong automation mindset
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving technical problems
• Excellent English communication skills
