Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist

From our office in Ghent, we’re looking for a Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist who’s eager to contribute to our data-driven future. In this role, you’ll maintain and optimize our current reporting ecosystem while designing innovative solutions to address emerging data needs. You will play a key role in driving the migration from Synapse to our modernized data warehousing environment and, as part of our central data team, collaborate to solve complex technical challenges, identify new opportunities, and translate data into real business value. • Design, maintain, and enhance our Data Warehouse environment
• Add knowledge and insights to the team, both in terms of data warehousing and data visualization
• Ensure high-quality data ingestion processes and drive continuous improvement in our data infrastructure.
• Develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into robust data models and analytical solutions.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and safeguard data reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with both technical and business teams with a pragmatic, results-driven mindset.

• Proven experience with enterprise data warehousing
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Experience with data visualization, preferably Power BI
• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have

• Driven to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies

• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with Power BI and DAX
• Experience with Azure Data Lake

• Experience working in an agile environment

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with SharePoint
• Experience with Salesforce, Bob, Kantata, Tempus, Workato
