Job description

This Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing strategic projects with the intent of driving positive sustained results and improving key performance indicators. The candidate will have a strong understanding of Network concepts, proven successful experience implementing process change, with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments, as well as communicate effectively up and down the organizational structure., * Leads, plans, and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel as all documentation is Excel based
  • Advanced technical understanding of Network projects to discuss site requirements with all stakeholders including but not limited to engineers, PMs, and management
  • Manages project initiation activities including identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed
  • Proactiveness is required as the role includes many layers of planning from the start of each site deployment from surveys, staging of hardware, and deployments
  • Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the completion of each project’s objectives
  • Manage customer expectations on updates of all documentation throughout the week for both customer internal documents
  • Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical teams, in internal organizations as well as in client and vendor/subcontractor organizations to ensure all project targets and requirements are met
  • Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation, and ongoing activities to accountable teams and complete a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Project Manager certification?, Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Technical Project Management with a focus on Networking

  • Solid working knowledge of Networking concepts
  • Successful history of leading, managing, and implementing impactful process improvement projects
  • Proven self-starter operating with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, * Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Project Management Certification strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
