Job description

  • Architect, develop, and continuously improve cloudconnected software platforms and applications.
  • Establish and uphold engineering best practices across code quality, testing, security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Drive technical decisionmaking and ensure engineering solutions align with business objectives.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure systems are designed for scalability, fault tolerance, maintainability, and security.

Software Development & Systems Integration

  • Guide fullstack development efforts leveraging:
  • Go (Golang) for backend services and APIs
  • React and TypeScript for web applications
  • React Native and native mobile technologies for mobile solutions
  • AWS cloud services and infrastructure
  • Lead integrations with thirdparty platforms, business applications, external services, and identity management solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to modern security practices (encryption, authentication, authorization, secure deployment).
  • Support the design and implementation of cloudnative architectures and distributed systems.

Team Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5-10 software engineers and technical contributors.
  • Set clear priorities, goals, and accountability measures to ensure successful delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Partner with leadership to identify resource needs and support team growth as the organization scales.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Operations, and executive stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business priorities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
  • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and development teams as needed.
  • Drive execution against roadmap commitments while balancing technical debt, innovation, and operational stability.

Requirements

The ideal candidate blends handson technical depth with proven leadership experience and has a track record of building and scaling secure, reliable, and highly available software products. This leader must be comfortable operating across multiple technology stacks, including cloud infrastructure, backend services, web applications, mobile development, and systems integrations., * 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.

  • Proven success delivering and scaling secure, cloudbased software platforms.
  • Strong handson development experience with Go (Golang).
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions in AWS environments.
  • Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with mobile development using React Native, Swift, and/or Kotlin.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, observability platforms, and release management processes.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, API development, and cloudnative technologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field., * Experience leading teams building IoTconnected or cloudconnected device ecosystems.
  • Experience with microservices architectures and eventdriven systems.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management technologies (OAuth, SAML).
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
