Job description
- Advise clients on Cyber Security compliance, especially NIS-D, NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443 and other relevant industry standards.
- Develop governance frameworks and Cyber Security & Information Security Management systems.
- Analyse Cyber Security controls, comment on architecture proposals, and conduct Threat & Risk assessments.
- Analyse and tailor Cyber Security requirements to client needs.
- Translate business and technical requirements into tangible actions.
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, partners and supply chain to define technical and procedural solutions.
- Support delivery of best practice Cyber Security across projects.
- Present WSP’s Cyber Security services and propose solutions for Digital Resilience.
Requirements
- Background in Cyber Security, OT, Integration or Systems Engineering with consultancy or supplier experience.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior cyber security professionals.
- Knowledge of OT, IT, IoT/IIoT cyber security, especially within Energy, Oil & Gas, Electricity, Rail & Road, Healthcare, Smart Infrastructure, Aviation or Maritime sectors.
- Experience with NIS-D, NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, and other government frameworks.
- Proficiency in writing proposals, threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, risk matrix modelling, secure DevOps, secure systems engineering lifecycle, and security policy and governance.
- Familiarity with Cloud Security, OT in the Cloud, incident management frameworks, SOC operations and supporting tools.
- Knowledge of cyber security platforms and tooling (IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR/MDR, system/device hardening).
- Experience with OT/IT or electronics engineering/systems environments, agile and V-model processes.
- A degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline; chartership or professional registration highly recommended.
We are looking for someone who can combine practical knowledge of risk assessment methodologies in systems and software development (including Agile, ITIL and V-model) to design optimal security solutions. The ideal candidate has authored technical reports, advised clients, worked with formal security frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NCSC’s CAF, and shaped OT solutions from a security perspective.
