Junior Backend Developer

Role Duties:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of payment software and open banking solutions.
• Write, test, and debug clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and enhancements.
• Support the integration of APIs for payment processing and financial data handling.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and practices.
• Help troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the fintech space.

• Any formal certificates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Bachelor’s degree, Bootcamp certification, etc.) are preferred but not required.
• Understanding of Open Banking principles and fintech applications is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of API integrations and software development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
