Job description
Seeking an experienced Retail Data Architect with strong expertise in Erwin, Google Cloud Platform, enterprise data architecture, and retail data modeling. The role focuses on modernizing legacy data models and designing scalable cloud-native data solutions., * Design and modernize enterprise OLTP/OLAP data models
- Reverse engineer legacy models and develop future-state architecture
- Evaluate Google Cloud Platform database technologies
- Support data governance and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with business and technical teams
- Mentor onsite/offshore data modeling teams
Preferred: Enterprise modernization, digital transformation, distributed systems, and cloud-native application experience.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Data Architecture/Data Modeling experience
- Strong Erwin experience with OLTP/OLAP modeling
- Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, DB2
- Strong SQL, Data Governance, Metadata Management
- Legacy data model reverse engineering & modernization
- Strong Retail domain and business process knowledge
- Domain Driven Design (DDD) and cloud-native architecture
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
