NET Software Engineer - Cambridge

This is an opportunity to join a growing engineering team where you’ll be working on greenfield projects, helping to design and build brand-new products and features from the ground up. Rather than maintaining legacy applications, you’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture, technology choices and future direction of the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop modern applications using C# and .NET
• Build new products and greenfield features from concept through to production
• Develop desktop, backend and systems-level software
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Architects, Product and QA teams
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices
• Improve testing, CI/CD and software quality across the platform
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
• Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering where appropriate

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Experience developing desktop and/or systems applications
• Experience building automated integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience with WPF, WinUI or other XAML-based UI frameworks
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools
• Right to work in the UK
