Application Support Analyst (Data)

• Performing complex data fixes both individually and in bulk using SQL and internal tooling
• Investigating and resolving a wide range of system and data issues including exceptions, adjustments and discrepancies
• Determining root cause by distinguishing between data issues, process errors, configuration problems and system defects
• Escalating complex defects to engineering with clear impact assessments and reproduction steps
• Identifying recurring data and system issues and contributing to problem management activities
• Supporting first line teams with repeatable fixes and knowledge transfer
• Clearly communicating system outcomes and behaviour to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in application support or functional support
• Strong SQL skills you’ll be using this daily for investigation and data fixes
• Experience working with complex software platforms and operational data
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with ticketing or incident management tools
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• PowerShell or scripting experience
• AWS exposure
• MySQL knowledge
• Familiarity with Grafana or similar monitoring platforms
• Experience with container orchestration tooling
• Background in a data-heavy or operationally complex environment

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, hybrid working with flexibility after onboarding and a role where your data and support skills will both be put to genuine use. #J-18808-Ljbffr
