Senior DevOps Engineer in Merrifield

• US Citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance \n

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering \n

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field \n

• Expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm) \n

• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration \n

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD \n

• Expertise with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform, Ansible) \n

• Experience with monitoring, observability, and visualization technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) \n

• Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production deployments \n

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture concepts \n

• Experience supporting high-availability and scalable environments \n

• Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team \n

• Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision

Specific Duties:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments \n

• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation \n

• Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts \n

• Troubleshoot complex production, networking, and deployment issues \n

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices \n

• Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security improvements \n

• Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives \n

• Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members \n

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness \n

• Support onboarding, operational documentation, and environment management \n

• Experience with networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, TLS); comfortable diagnosing and resolving networking issues \n

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00\n
