Requirements

Mandatory skills: Java, Spring Boot Microservices RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Microsoft Azure cloud services Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java and Microservices Architecture.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field additional experience may be accepted in lieu of education or degree.

Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 17+) is required, including Object-Oriented Programming, Collections Framework, Multithreading and Concurrency, Exception Handling, and JVM Performance Tuning.

Extensive experience developing Spring Boot Microservices is required.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture is required.

Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, including database schema design, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, SQL performance tuning, and query optimization is required.

Ability to independently design and develop enterprise-grade solutions, contribute to modernization initiatives, and drive continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability is required.

Experience supporting and troubleshooting production systems is required.

Strong written, verbal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills are required.

Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices is required.

Experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure applications and products.

Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.

Experience with Azure services such as Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Application Insights, and Azure DevOps is a plus.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments is a plus.

Exposure to event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, CICD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.

Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated enterprise environments is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support mission-critical production environments.

Ability to understand business plans and apply that information to the development of an IT business case., Anticipates problems, resistance, or likely objections and takes action to resolve them
