Descripción del trabajo: Project: To join a leading enterprise organisation, we are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Specialist for an initial 6+ month contract.You will take technical ownership of the SAP landscape, ensuring high system availability, performance and stability across multiple business critical environments.The role covers SAP Basis operations, system lifecycle management, security, upgrades, monitoring and continuous improvement across both on-premise and cloud-based SAP environments.¿Es usted el solicitante adecuado para esta oportunidad?Descúbralo leyendo el resumen del puesto a continuación.Tasks:Act as the technical owner for the SAP system landscape, ensuring agreed service levels for availability, performance, backup and recovery are consistently met.Administer and maintain multi-system SAP environments, including system refreshes, SAP and database upgrades, patching and support package implementations.Support SAP release management and provide technical support for Focused Build and related SAP lifecycle management tools.Monitor, analyse and optimise SAP system performance, implementing SAP Best Practices for configuration, tuning and operational stability.Define and implement SAP Basis standards, security policies and system maintenance procedures.Design and support backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.Act as the main technical contact for SAP Basis topics, working closely with infrastructure, application and other technical teams to identify dependencies, resolve issues and coordinate system changes.Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and system configuration documentation.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, including administering and operating SAP solutions across both on-premise and cloud environments.Extensive experience with SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patch management and certificate management.Strong technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, its architecture, technical requirements and Basis administration best practices.Experience with SAP ChaRM and Focused Build.Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including user administration, roles, authorisations and profile management.Experience monitoring and optimising SAP performance, including workload analysis, system tuning and capacity planning using Cloud ALM (knowledge of Solution Manager is advantageous).Knowledge of SAP backup, recovery and disaster recovery concepts.Experience managing SAP transports and transport landscapes.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with proven experience conducting root cause analysis.Good understanding of private cloud infrastructure, including networking, storage and virtualisation in relation to SAP systems.Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures.Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), subaccount administration and Cloud Connector configuration would be advantageous.xcskxljExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders and external vendors.Languages:Fluent English (written and spoken)German is an advantageRole: SAP Basis Consultant (all)Location: Remote / EuropeWork Load: 100% Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: **** (possible extension)#J-***-Ljbffr
