Senior Qa Automation Engineer | Relocation To Alicante

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a technology team working on digital solutions for the utilities sector.You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of software solutions, combining functional testing, test automation, API and UI testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile environment.Responsibilities- Define and execute functional and technical test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.- Design, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs and user interfaces.- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support Continuous Testing and secure deployments.- Manage test plans, test execution, defect tracking, and test coverage using Azure DevOps.- Analyse test results and collaborate with Development, DevOps, Platform, Architecture, and Product teams to identify and resolve quality issues.- Contribute to test environment and test data management.- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Refinement, and PI Planning.- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation practices, quality metrics, and root cause analysis.Requirements- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.- Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.- Experience with API testing, REST APIs, and microservices.- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.- Good understanding of asynchronous architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.- Experience working in Agile software development environments.- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6 is a plus.- ISTQB certification is a plus.- Professional English (C1) is mandatory.? Location & Work Model- This position is based in Alicante, Spain.We are looking for candidates who currently live in Alicante or are open to relocating.- Hybrid work model: During the first 2 months: 2 days at the office / 3 days remote per week.From the third month onwards: 1 day at the office / 4 days remote per week.What do we offer?- ?
