Job description

This role will focus on advancing machine learning systems that support localization, ego-motion estimation, and sensor fusion for autonomous vehicle applications. You will work across data, model development, and production software to improve performance, robustness, and validation in real-world driving conditions. The position also partners closely with cross-functional engineering teams to bring high-performing localization capabilities into production., * Design and deploy ML models for ego-motion estimation and localization

  • Develop scalable training workflows using PyTorch and real-world datasets
  • Improve state estimation and sensor fusion algorithms for vehicle dynamics
  • Analyze vehicle data to drive model and system enhancements
  • Develop production software in C++ and Python across the development lifecycle
  • Define validation strategies for localization under diverse conditions
  • Make technical decisions balancing performance and production needs
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate autonomous driving capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in CS, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 6+ years of experience, Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year
  • Experience with AV or robotics localization systems, including LiDAR, visual odometry, and SLAM
  • Strong experience developing and deploying ML models for perception and sensor fusion
  • Proficient in PyTorch and ML tooling for training and optimization
  • Solid understanding of 3D geometry and probabilistic estimation principles
  • Experience with large multimodal datasets and scalable processing pipelines
  • Strong fundamentals in Python and C++, with emphasis on algorithms and performance optimization

Benefits & conditions

  • 100% covered medical, dental, and vision premiums for full-time employees
  • 401K plan with 6% employer match
  • Flexible scheduling and immediate paid vacation
  • Company-wide holiday office closures
