Working Student - Data & Analytics gesucht in Berlin

• Maintain and monitor existing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and timely availability for our trading and modeling systems
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to give the team visibility into data quality, model performance, and market metrics
• Take on well-scoped subtasks within larger modeling and optimization projects (e.g., data preparation, backtesting support, evaluation)
• Support in monitoring and maintaining the performance of our data infrastructure

• A careful, reliability-minded working style; you notice when numbers look off and dig until you understand why
• Ability to work independently on small, well-defined tasks after onboarding, with regular check-ins
• Clear communication about progress, blockers, and findings
• Availability of 15-20 hours per week during the semester (more possible during semester breaks), * Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative program
• Solid Python skills, particularly pandas and time-series data handling
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases (we use MongoDB)
• Basic understanding of machine learning workflows, you have trained and evaluated models in coursework or projects
• Nice to have: exposure to Airflow or similar orchestration tools, Git, cloud environments, or an interest in energy markets
