Full Stack Java Developer

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot to modernize core application functionality
• Build and enhance a modern front-end interface using Next.js, improving UX for in-store and operational users
• Refactor and migrate legacy components into a microservices-based architecture
• Integrate the Paint Mixer Pro application with internal systems, devices, and third-party services
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and responsiveness of both backend services and UI components
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high engineering standards
• Support deployment, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of the platform, * Transitioning a legacy operational tool into a modern, scalable platform
• Enhancing the user experience for retail/store operations
• Building robust API layers to support integrations and future extensibility
• Delivering full-stack impact across backend services and frontend interfaces

Do you have experience in Version control?, * 4+ years of software development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• REST API development
• Experience building front-end applications with Next.js, React, or similar frameworks
• Understanding of API-driven architecture and microservices design
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on application modernization or legacy system transformation projects
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with edge devices, retail systems, or hardware-integrated applications
• Familiarity with API security practices (OAuth, JWT), * Strong backend foundation (Java/Spring Boot) with solid front-end capability (Next.js/React)
• Experience working on real-world modernization efforts, not just net-new builds
