Principal Software Engineer

Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications and operating systems. Provides technical support to project team members for software development activities. Coordinates work teams and ensures successful project completion for complex software projects. Uses DOORS database for requirements management and traceability on Flight Management Systems (FMS) programs. Applies FMS systems knowledge for software design and development. Demonstrates expertise in software development concepts, practices, and procedures. Performs a variety of software development tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Provides consultation on complex software projects as a top-level contributor or specialist. Applies experience with DOORS database usage on FMS programs.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required. 8+ years of experience in software development, programming applications, or operating systems. Experience with DOORS database usage on FMS programs is required. FMS systems knowledge is strongly desired. Experience designing and developing software programming applications or operating systems is required. Experience coordinating work teams and ensuring successful project completion is required. Experience providing technical support to project team members is required.
