Software Engineer V (Mobile Systems)

• Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, iOS/Android applications, and distributed backend services.
• Apply strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions, and deadlock prevention.
• Debug race conditions, thread-safety problems, and complex concurrency issues.
• Optimize CPU usage, memory consumption, latency, and system reliability.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kotlin or Swift, async and concurrent programming, and client-server architectures and a proven ability to design and implement performant, reliable systems across mobile, wearables, and distributed backends., * Proficiency in Kotlin or Swift and experience building mobile products with distributed backends.

• Expertise in multithreaded, event-driven, async systems and concurrency control.
• System engineering experience including architecture design, performance optimization, and reliability improvements.
• Ability to analyze and resolve thread-safety and performance bottlenecks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience level: 10+ years preferred. 7+ years considered with strong alignment to nice-to-have skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Wearables experience, including glasses, watches, or MR headsets.
• Proficiency in C++ or Rust for systems programming.
• AI/ML engineering exposure, including LLM prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows.

• Candidates must demonstrate solid programming and software engineering backgrounds matching required skills.
