Job description

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

· Embodies Metrc’s Leadership Principles
· Integrations & Data Flow
o Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems using APIs and integration platforms (e.g., Tray.io or similar)
o Define and manage data flows, transformations, visualizations, and synchronization across systems
o Implement error handling, monitoring, and retry logic to ensure reliability
o Troubleshoot integration issues and identify root causes
· Building automations to streamline processes and workflows in the business
· Assist in the implementation and management of applications used internally
· Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
· Work with third party vendors or support as required
· Stakeholder Interaction & Requirements
o Meet with business stakeholders to understand and clarify system needs
o Translate business requests into actionable technical solutions
o Identify when requests do not address root problems and propose better alternatives
o Communicate technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical users

Requirements

· 3+ years of experience in systems, integrations, or business applications roles
· Strong experience working with APIs (REST, webhooks, JSON)
· Experience with integration platforms or ETL tools such as Tray.io, Workato, MuleSoft, etc.
· Advanced knowledge of SQL or related query languages
· Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (PowerShell, Python, JS, et cetera)
· Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, RDS, IIS, etc.)
· Understanding of data models and cross-system data relationships
· Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems
· Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
· Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
· Preferred / Nice to Have:
o Experience with AI tools and infrastructure
o Experience with Azure/AWS
o Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
o Experience with NetSuite or ERP systems
o Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Domo, or Sigma.
o Experience in high-growth or complex operational environments
