Job description

• Designing and building APIs and webhooks that move data between a leasing platform and a property management system - covering everything from resident applications through end of tenancy (payments, unit reservations, renewals, etc.)
• Mixing greenfield development with extension of existing, mature integration patterns
• Building for reuse and scale - solving the immediate problem without boxing the system into a single use case
• Working closely with a senior domain lead and a small, focused integrations team
• Bringing (or building) an agentic/AI-assisted development mindset - the company is actively investing in this and wants fresh ideas

Requirements

• Senior backend engineer, strong generalist - Python/Django experience is preferred
• Solid SQL and data-first thinking
• Experience building or consuming high-throughput, production-grade APIs (rate limiting, security, versioning, API design best practices)
• Nice to have: experience with CRM, RMS, or PMS systems, or proptech more broadly
• Comfort working in a system where some things are established and others you’ll be defining for the first time
