Technical Consultant Clinical Systems

In order to be able to further expand our business, we would like to strengthen our successful team in Austria. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Consultant for Clinical Systems (m/f/d). In this role, you will support our customers in close collaboration with the existing team in the implementation, integration and development of clinical information systems. You act as a technical interface between project teams, IT departments and software manufacturers and thus make a significant contribution to digital transformation in healthcare. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaboration in the implementation, configuration and support of our clinical systems
• Collaboration in software rollouts and deployments as well as technical support for release and update processes
• Recording, analysis and evaluation of technical and professional requirements in close cooperation with customers, product owners and development teams
• Analysis, implementation and maintenance of system integrations between our clinical systems and third-party systems using integration and communication servers (e.g. Mirth Connect) as well as common mapping and transformation technologies
• Planning, documentation and implementation of interfaces based on relevant healthcare standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, IHE)
• Carrying out data migrations and database maintenance in customer systems
• Technical fault analysis and assistance in processing support cases in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Implementation of training and know-how transfer for customers and internal teams

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, university) in the area of computer science, medical informatics, information technology or comparable
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge of relational databases (in particular MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle) as well as practical experience with SQL
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare standards and communication protocols (HL7, FHIR, IHE)
• Practical experience with integration and communication servers (e.g. Mirth Connect), interface development, and HL7 mapping and transformation processes
• Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments
• Understanding clinical processes and information flows in healthcare is an advantage
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
• High customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• Very good German language skills as well as good written and spoken English skills

For legal reasons, we refer to the minimum annual salary of €64,554 gross under the collective agreement. The final salary is, of course, based on your individual experience.
