Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience.

  • 1+ years of experience with AI coding assistants such as Databricks Assistant, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code.

  • Hands-on Prompt Engineer / AI Software Engineer with a strong full-stack development background who can leverage AI coding assistants such as Databricks Genie Code, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to rapidly deliver production-ready software.

  • Combine prompt engineering expertise with strong Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, and Databricks knowledge, with the ability to translate technical designs into structured AI prompts that generate complete end-to-end solutions.

  • Design and optimize prompts for AI-assisted software development.

  • Generate and validate full-stack solutions across: Database: PostgreSQL, Backend: Python/FastAPI, Frontend: React

  • Review and refine AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.

  • Implement and maintain REST APIs and database schemas.

  • Ensure compliance with security, RBAC, authentication, and coding standards.

  • Support deployments on Databricks using DABs (Declarative Automation Bundles).

  • Maintain technical documentation and architectural standards.

  • Strong Prompt Engineering experience.

  • Advanced Python and FastAPI development skills.

  • Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL skills.

  • Advanced JavaScript and React skills.

  • Strong experience in REST API design and development.

  • Experience with Git, Merge Requests, and CI/CD workflows.

  • Experience working in cloud-based development environments.

  • Strong code review and software quality mindset.

  • Experience with Databricks Platform, Apps, Unity Catalog, and Lakebase PostgreSQL.

  • Experience with Databricks Genie Code.

  • Experience with Data Governance, Data Catalogs, or Metadata Management, Data Quality frameworks, OAuth, SSO, and RBAC implementations, YAML and Infrastructure-as-Code.

  • Full-stack engineer with strong Python/FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, and Databricks experience, along with practical experience using AI coding assistants to deliver software.

  • Should be comfortable translating technical designs into structured prompts, validating AI-generated code, and working within an enterprise development and governance environment.
