About the company

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team at DataSnipper!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and building core platform systems that power authentication, authorization, and access across our entire product. You’ll play a key role in shaping the architecture of our platform and enabling other teams to build on top of it.

DataSnipper is the driving force behind an intelligent automation platform that’s transforming the world of audit and finance.

Founded in 2017, DataSnipper has skyrocketed and is now OFFICIALLY the fastest-growing software company in the Netherlands according to Deloitte Fast50 and recently achieved Unicorn status in our latest funding round. With over 400.000 users in 125+ countries and a second base in the heart of New York City, DataSnipper is shaking things up. And we’re not stopping there. At DataSnipper, we’re always on the lookout for innovators who think outside of the box. New ideas aren’t just welcomed at DataSnipper-they’re essential.

  • Design and build scalable, secure IAM (authentication, authorization, access management) platform services
  • Own and drive architecture decisions for backend systems
  • Work across teams to enable identity and access flows across the platform
  • Ensure high reliability, performance, and security
  • Handle ambiguous, high-level problems and turn them into structured solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical decisions and risks clearly
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (second line after tech support)
