IAM Consultant / Engineer

(Senior) IAM Consultant / Engineer - Ping Identity (m/f/d)We are looking for an experienced (Senior) IAM Consultant / Engineer (m/f/d) with strong hands-on expertise in Ping Identity’s on-prem and hybrid product stack. If you enjoy solving complex identity challenges and working with enterprise-grade IAM platforms, this role is for you. Your Responsibilities:Operation, administration, and continuous enhancement of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, with hands-on experience with one or several Ping Identity products, such as PingAM, PingIDM, PingDirectory (PingDS).Install, configure, and maintain Ping Identity components in on-premise or hybrid infrastructures. Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions (SSO, MFA, federation) using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. Integrate applications and target systems using REST APIs, product-specific connectors, and automation scripts. Support identity lifecycle processes, directory services, schema extensions, access policies, and RBAC/ABAC models. Enhance self-service features, delegated administration, and workflow-based business processes. Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable IAM solutions. Your Experience:Several years of practical experience with either PingAM, PingIDM, or Ping Directory Service (PingDS).Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and federation standards.Solid Linux knowledge and experience with scripting/ automation (Python, Groovy, JavaScript, Bash). Ability to navigate complex project environments and understand architectural and requirements-driven contexts. Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and confidence using Microsoft Office. Fluent English language skills, German or other languages are a plus. Willingness to travel.
