Job description

  • We need someone to act as SOC Service Architect and lead, architect and design Security Operations Centre solutions delivered to customers.
  • This is a senior role, and you will be expected to lead and shape service aspects of solutions across people, policy and process, technology, and physical infrastructure layers.
  • You will help lead teams to meet requirements and achieve objectives.
  • You will engage with client stakeholders to understand and/or define security requirements, including any accreditation requirements.
  • You will lead the service aspects of the architecture and design for SOC solutions, including input to CONOPS, high level designs, low level designs and deployment level designs.
  • You will provide service aspects of engineering leadership and engineering management for delivery of Security Operations Centre operational services through all stages of the engineering lifecycle.
  • You will contribute to engineering leadership and management for solutions delivered to customers.
  • You will contribute to the development of solution architectures in collaboration with other design team members.
  • You will understand and leverage our experience, IP and expertise, with support of product and subject matter experts, to deliver secure solutions., * Engage with client stakeholders to understand and define security requirements, including accreditation requirements.
  • Lead the service aspects of architecture and design for SOC solutions across people, process, technology and physical layers.
  • Contribute to CONOPS, high level designs, low level designs and deployment level designs.
  • Provide engineering leadership and management for the design, build, deployment and operation of Security Operations Centre services.
  • Support delivery of SOC operational services through the full engineering lifecycle from concept through requirements definition, design and build, to transition into service operation.
  • Contribute to solution architecture development across service, people, process, technology and physical layers.
  • Work with product and subject matter experts to deliver secure solutions.
  • Help lead teams to meet requirements and achieve objectives.
  • Support engineering leadership and management for solutions delivered to customers.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with excellent technical and client-facing skills., * You should have understanding of industry best practice in Security Operations for services, people, policy and process.
  • You should have understanding of common threats and mitigation techniques.
  • You should have proficiency in risk assessment and vulnerability management.
  • You should have knowledge of on-prem technology architectures, including security controls and detection tools, networking, and secure network architectures.
  • You should have a recognised ITSM certification, for example ITIL.
  • You should have good knowledge and experience of common Enterprise ICT services.
  • You should have experience working with Government systems and senior stakeholders.
