- Define and communicate our architectural vision and strategy for major government programmes
- Translate complex business, policy, and user requirements into scalable, secure, enterprise-level solutions
- Design end-to-end architectures spanning applications, data, infrastructure, security, integrations, and cloud platforms
- Provide technical leadership and architectural assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Lead stakeholder workshops and influence senior business, policy, and technical decision-makers

Requirements
- Significant experience working with or within UK Central Government
- Proven leadership delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
- Strong expertise across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Experience with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs and integration patterns
- Experience working with Agile teams and iterative delivery approaches
- Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of GDS Service Standard and NCSC security principles
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
- SC Clearance or ability to obtain clearance
- TOGAF
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Experience within Health, Defence, Justice, or wider Public Sector organisations
- Professional Services or Consulting experience
- Knowledge of emerging technologies including AI, blockchain, and quantum computing

We are seeking an Associate Director, Solution Architect to lead the architectural vision and strategy for large-scale government programmes. This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days in the office, and the role is also available in Bristol and Manchester. Our interview process includes an initial interview with the Hiring Manager, an Architecture and Technical Leadership Interview, and a Final Partner Interview.
