Solution Architect - Central Government

• Define and communicate our architectural vision and strategy for major government programmes
• Translate complex business, policy, and user requirements into scalable, secure, enterprise-level solutions
• Design end-to-end architectures spanning applications, data, infrastructure, security, integrations, and cloud platforms
• Provide technical leadership and architectural assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Significant experience working with or within UK Central Government
• Proven leadership delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
• Strong expertise across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Experience with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Cloud technologies
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs and integration patterns
• Experience working with Agile teams and iterative delivery approaches
• Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and lifecycle management
• Knowledge of GDS Service Standard and NCSC security principles
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
• SC Clearance or ability to obtain clearance

We are seeking an Associate Director, Solution Architect to lead the architectural vision and strategy for large-scale government programmes. This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days in the office, and the role is also available in Bristol and Manchester.
