Job description
This is a once in a life time opportunity for an experienced Security Analyst who is looking for a new challenge and a chance to develop their career with a globally market leading technology company.
Join a fast-growing cyber security company in a key role protecting and enhancing their IT security. You’ll safeguard the current and future technology estate, respond to security incidents, drive continuous improvements in security services and standards, and ensure compliance with ISO and Cyber Essentials Plus. Working closely with the CISO, you’ll provide valuable security insights, metrics, and reporting that shape the security strategy, helping the organisation stay resilient against evolving threats while supporting future business growth and innovation.
About the role *
- Strengthen and manage the organisation’s cyber security posture.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats and security incidents.
- Administer Identity & Access Management (IAM) across Microsoft, Azure, AWS, and SaaS platforms.
- Deploy and optimise Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview.
- Drive vulnerability management and penetration testing programmes.
- Secure Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Sensitivity Labels, and encryption.
- Deliver security awareness and phishing simulation programmes.
- Maintain ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance.
- Produce security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Lead incident response and continuous security improvement.
- Conduct third-party security assessments and vendor assurance.
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in a cyber security or information security role.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender Suite, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview.
- Proven experience managing vulnerability scanning and penetration testing programmes.
- Experience supporting ISO 27001 compliance and coordinating Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Pluscertifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills across complex IT environments.
- Proactive approach to security, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
- Experience leading or supporting security incident response and remediation.
- Strong reporting, analysis, and security metrics capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
