Job description
- Design, develop, integrate, and RF-enabled Cyber, C/EW capabilities supporting DoW and Intelligence Community missions.
- Translate mission needs, operational requirements, and threat intelligence into product concepts, system requirements, technical architectures, and executable development plans.
- Develop and mature technical capabilities from concept and proof of concept through prototype, demonstration, validation, and operational transition.
- Define product strategy, technical roadmaps, and capability priorities for multi-domain cyber solutions spanning cyber, RF, OT/ICS, embedded systems, and CEMA.
- Perform hands-on technical work in cyber research, software and hardware integration, threat emulation, system configuration, troubleshooting, and capability evaluation.
- Plan, support, and participate in operational test events, cyber exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate directly with government customers, mission partners, and end users to identify technical gaps and develop mission-relevant solutions.
- Develop system architectures, interfaces, integration approaches, and technology-selection recommendations for complex cyber products and test environments.
- Research emerging cyber threats, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and evolving technologies to inform product development and technical strategy.
- Design representative test environments and develop methods to assess cyber effects across enterprise, operational, RF-enabled, and cyber-physical systems.
- Analyze test and demonstration results, identify technical deficiencies, and refine product requirements, designs, and implementation approaches.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges and develop practical mitigation approaches throughout product development.
- Produce technical documentation, architecture descriptions, test plans, white papers, product roadmaps, and proposal content.
- Present technical concepts, product strategies, research findings, and capability results to government customers and technical audiences.
- Evaluate emerging tools, platforms, and engineering methods that can improve product performance, adaptability, interoperability, and mission utility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience supporting Department of War or Intelligence Community cyber programs.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience engineering, integrating, testing, or evaluating complex cyber capabilities, products, or systems.
- Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end research and development for emerging threat prototypes, from initial threat analysis and concept development through design, integration, testing, validation, demonstration, and operational transition.
- Experience developing technical capabilities from initial concept through prototype, demonstration, validation, and operational use.
- Strong technical background in either RF/EW and/or Offensive Cyber Operations
- Experience supporting Operational Test and Evaluation, developmental testing, cyber assessments, cyber exercises, or representative cyber test environments.
- Experience developing product strategies, technical roadmaps, architectures, requirements, or implementation plans for cyber capabilities.
- Strong understanding of cyber operations across multiple domains, including enterprise IT, Operational Technology, Industrial Control Systems, RF-enabled systems, embedded systems, and CEMA.
- Experience conducting research and development involving emerging cyber technologies, adversary capabilities, advanced threat emulation, or cyber-physical systems.
- Ability to translate operational requirements and threat information into technical designs, prototypes, test cases, and system architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate software, hardware, networks, sensors, radios, or other mission systems within laboratory and operational environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical material to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Experience contributing technical content to proposals, white papers, customer briefings, product plans, or research reports.
- Ability to travel in support of customer meetings, demonstrations, integration activities, and operational test events.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required upon hire; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
Desired Skills :
- Experience supporting the Operational Test community, including DOT&E, TRMC, Service Operational Test Agencies, or equivalent organizations.
- Experience with cyber threat emulation, red team operations, adversary TTP development, vulnerability research, or exploit development.
- Hands-on experience with OT/ICS, RF-enabled cyber, software-defined radios, wireless protocols, embedded systems, or cyber-physical systems.
- Experience integrating threat intelligence and validated adversary behavior into cyber testing, product development, or capability evaluation.
- Knowledge of agile product development, DevSecOps, model-based systems engineering, and modern software or systems engineering practices.
- Proficiency with relevant programming or scripting languages and cyber engineering tools; certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GCIH, CISSP, Security+, or comparable credentials are beneficial.
- Experience working in classified laboratories, hardware-in-the-loop environments, cyber ranges, RF laboratories, or other controlled test facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate complex technical problems and develop practical, mission-focused solutions.
