Job description
A student transportation client is seeking a Data Governance Lead to take ownership of their established enterprise data governance function. This is an existing role that is currently vacant, and the client is looking for a proven governance leader who will bring new ideas and energy to a program already in motion rather than simply maintain it. This resource will own the data quality, stewardship, and master data management programs that make enterprise data trustworthy, defining the single source of truth (SSOT) for core business domains and holding the organization to it. They will partner with business domain owners, data engineering, and analytics teams to strengthen the stewardship operating model, raise the bar on data quality measurement and root-cause remediation, and govern master and reference data end to end. This lead will remain hands-on with profiling, quality rules, catalog and lineage tooling, and MDM design while modernizing the policies, forums, and metrics that sustain governance.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters.
