Job description

  • Provides administrator support to the Government SharePoint Administrator, at the direction of the Federal PM, for data management and enterprise database solutions to support the evolution of data in meeting customer needs.
  • Applies advanced analytical and evaluative methods to diagnose data quality issues within the ServiceNow data model, identify root causes, and guide corrective actions in collaboration with analysts.
  • Demonstrates strong data management and quality assurance skills by evaluating data attributes, ensuring consistency across systems, and supporting complex updates for reconciliation.
  • Leverages cross-functional communication and coordination skills to collaborate with staffing, classification, executive resources, and data teams, ensuring shared understanding of position data and hiring needs.
  • Provides expert guidance on sourcing authoritative data for dashboards and reports, advising analysts on selecting appropriate source systems, understanding data lineage, and identifying reliable upstream inputs for analytic products.
  • Offers advanced expertise in Power BI data modeling, including shaping fact and dimension structures, defining calculated measures, and troubleshooting DAX logic.
  • Advises colleagues on Excel-based data engineering techniques, leveraging PowerQuery, structured references, and multi-sheet data models to standardize inputs prior to ingestion into enterprise dashboards.
  • Serves as a technical problem-solving resource for BI tools, participating in troubleshooting sessions to resolve logic, data-join, and visualization design issues.
  • Demonstrates experience in descriptive and diagnostic analytics to produce metric reports and coordinate information for dashboard visualization using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Utilizes SQL Server Query Editor and Microsoft Excel to perform work within the data management environment.
  • Utilizes PowerAutomate to support data collection and business process workflows.

Requirements

Do you have experience in XML?, CVP is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience working with federal clients as a delivery leader to implement high-visibility initiatives. Strong demonstrated experience with database management systems and understanding of dataset relationships will equip the individual for success in the role. The Senior Data Analyst will work with the CVP Team and federal human capital clients to develop and maintain database management systems using Microsoft Access, SQL Server Query Editor, and Microsoft Excel. The Senior Data Analyst will provide delivery leadership and client relationship management expertise to the team. Additionally, they will possess the ability to produce technical reports, along with visual dashboards. The Senior Data Analyst will work with partner firms to ensure that the capabilities of partners are effectively integrated into project delivery and that all partners and subcontractors deliver quality work products to meet contract objectives., * Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

  • Master of Arts/Master of Science in a technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrates experience and understanding of SQL, XML, and JSON in support of data management operations.
  • Demonstrates experience with R and Python for data cleansing, manipulation, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Demonstrates experience and understanding of database management systems, dataset relationships, data joins, and database referential integrity (DRI).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Access, SQL Server Query Editor, and Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong customer relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • DHS or other Federal Human Capital experience
  • Management consulting background or experience
