Application Engineer

Description: Rubadue is seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to serve as a technical liaison between customers and our sales team. This role focuses on designing and implementing advanced wire and cable technologies for industries including military, aerospace, medical, magnetics and automation., * Technical Design & Support: Develop and design wire, cables and cable assemblies to meet specific customer requirements.

• Customer Quotations: Prepare detailed technical quotations, customer approval drawings, and pricing for new wire, cable and cable assembly products.
• Documentation: Create, review, and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical specifications.
• Sales Collaboration: Provide technical expertise for the sales team and participate in on-and-off-site customer visits to address complex interconnect challenges.
• Manufacturing Liaison: Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure timely production and compliance with technical standards.
• Testing & Analysis: Conduct product testing and competitive analysis to validate performance and meet customer expectations.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred). Preferred to have a degree, but doesn’t have to.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical interconnect systems, wire harnesses, and cable assemblies.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk) and standard MS Office software., * Exceptional work ethic and dedication to their company, and able to follow the Company Core Values.
