The SAP FICO Support Resource provides functional support, configuration guidance, issue resolution, and business consultation for SAP Finance and Controlling processes. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Tax, Audit, Operations, and IT stakeholders to support accurate reporting, cost control, compliance, and reliable SAP operations while recommending sustainable, governance-aligned solutions. Essential Job Functions Support SAP FI processes including general ledger, journal entries, account determination, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close activities. Support SAP CO processes including cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, material ledger, allocations, settlements, manufacturing cost reporting, and variance analysis. Support SAP asset accounting process including depreciation, capitalization, retirements, transfers, asset reconciliations, CAPEX tracking, and asset-under-construction settlement activities. Support SAP reporting, data extraction, audit evidence, tax analysis, compliance reviews, internal controls, and segregation-of-duties requirements. Recommend process, configuration, reporting, and control improvements to strengthen audit readiness and financial governance. Develop, support, and troubleshoot SAP financial and controlling reports for account analysis, cost reporting, variance review, and management reporting. Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and provide user guidance on transactions, reporting, data quality, and process alignment. Provide SAP FICO production support, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, testing, documentation, and resolution coordination. Work with MM, SD, PP, PM, PS, Basis, Security, ABAP, and integration teams to resolve cross-module financial issues and support enhancements., This employee generally works in an office environment, away from extremes of cold or heat. Limited to no exposure to noise and vibrations other than normal daily office sounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee should not have regular exposure to fumes, odors, toxic conditions, dust or poor ventilation. Strong SAP FI/CO functional support experience in production support or implementation environments. Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, material ledger, allocations, settlements, and financial reporting. Experience with manufacturing accounting and integration with MM, SD, PP, PM, PS, and related logistics modules. Ability to analyze requirements, design SAP solutions, document functional specifications, support testing, and guide technical teams. Strong communication skills with Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT, and management stakeholders., Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Five or more years of SAP FICO experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemicals, petrochemicals, or process industries. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, Material Ledger, product costing, asset accounting, and financial close optimization preferred. SAP FICO certification is a plus.
