The newest business group in AWS, AWS Solutions are built by AWS and AWS Partners to address specific industry, cross-industry, and technology use cases. Our customers are evolving from builders to both builders and buyers. As the AWS customer base expands, we increasingly need to serve customers who prefer to “buy” Solutions in addition to those who prefer to “build.” Given the depth and breadth of offerings (200+ AWS services and features, and thousands of APN offerings), and various ways they can be put together, increasingly customers need prescriptive guidance and automation to reduce the number of decisions they need to make and minimize last-mile development to adopt AWS. As a BI engineer on this team, you will get the exciting opportunity to work on very large data sets in one of the world’s largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You will work closely with product and business leaders and executives to continuously evolve the analytical portfolio and help the businesses make product strategy decisions., * Work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.

• Design and implement reporting solutions enabling stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis and data quality investigations.
• Implement training and documentation solutions that enable business stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve reporting tools.
• Develop and support the analytical technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.
• Design and implement an analytical environment using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, building reports and dashboards.

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

• 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
• 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
