Design, build and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes and data modelsMake and document architectural and data-modelling decisionsIntegrate and transform diverse data sources into a reliable, unified data platformDesign and implement database schemas for large volumes of structured and unstructured dataBuild scalable and maintainable data solutions supporting analytics, reporting, operational processes and data-driven productsChampion engineering standards across SQL, Python, testing, documentation and code reviewReview designs and code produced by other engineersIdentify and address technical debt and improve the data platformOptimise data solutions using partitioning, indexing and cachingDevelop and maintain data quality processesImprove reliability, observability and performance of data solutionsCollaborate with product managers, developers, data colleagues and business stakeholders to define requirementsDiagnose and resolve performance and production issuesCoach and mentor
