Job description

The external consultant will support the SLS AI team at Equans in establishing, governing, and operating Microsoft Copilot capabilities at a global scale. The primary mission is the end-to-end technical setup of Copilot Studio; the secondary mission is the technical setup and administration of Microsoft 365 Copilot. Working closely with the Lead Analyst, architects, security teams, and local IT stakeholders, the consultant will provide hands-on expertise, define scalable standards, and guide end users on both solutions.

Your core focus areas will include:

  • Copilot Studio: Define and implement the global technical foundation, environment strategy, governance model, security controls, deployment standards, connector framework, and operational model for enterprise agents.
  • Expert support: Provide advanced guidance, troubleshooting, documentation, and enablement for end users, makers, administrators, and support teams across both solutions.
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot: Analyze and configure global tenant capabilities, access, policies, readiness, and adoption-related technical settings through the relevant Microsoft administration portals.

Missions

  • Establish and operate the global Copilot Studio technical foundation, including environments, security, lifecycle, deployment, and governance standards.
  • Define and maintain connector, DLP, integration, and agent development standards aligned with security and data-protection requirements.
  • Analyze and configure Microsoft 365 Copilot tenant capabilities, access, readiness, rollout controls, and service settings.
  • Provide level 2/3 technical expertise, troubleshooting, guidance, and escalation support to users, makers, administrators, and support teams.
  • Implement operational monitoring and reporting, maintain technical documentation, and support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.

Objectives and Deliverables

Success criteria:

  • Secure, scalable, and repeatable global setup of Copilot Studio environments and agents
  • Effective connector governance and DLP coverage across environments
  • Reliable administration and controlled rollout of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities
  • Quality, responsiveness, and resolution rate of expert support
  • Actionable reporting on usage, adoption, performance, capacity, and governance

Expected outcomes and deliverables:

  • A documented global Copilot Studio architecture covering environments, roles, lifecycle, deployment, ownership, capacity, security, and support.
  • Implemented governance for Microsoft connectors, supported by appropriate DLP policies and controlled exception processes.
  • Configured Microsoft 365 Copilot tenant settings, administrative controls, readiness checks, license-related processes, and operational procedures.
  • Reusable standards, technical patterns, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge material for makers, administrators, support teams, and end users.
  • Custom reporting capabilities consolidating platform inventory including usage, adoption, and governance indicators.
