Job description

As Software Engineer - Systems Modeling you will join the Architecture and Processes (A&P) team to develop the system infrastructure that enables the rapid development of satellite missions. You will work closely with all engineering teams to develop tools, digital models, and processes to enable our mission teams.

Requirements

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a related field, or bring equivalent work experience.
  • You have experience with MBSE, SysMLv2, and code-based systems modeling.
  • You have strong Python skills and are experienced in architecture, testing, automation, databases, and API interfacing.
  • You are proficient with Git, GitLab, and CI pipelines - you should be comfortable managing branches, handling merge requests, and troubleshooting CI issues independently.
  • You are structured and process-oriented with a keen sense of simplicity and automation.
  • You are a collaborative team player and communicate effortlessly with different stakeholders.
  • Ideally, you already bring an understanding of satellite missions, system architectures, satellite subsystems and the satellite development lifecycle.
  • Ideally, you have experience with UI design for data visualization, databases (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB), and Grafana.
